Sven Spieckermann studied Business Informatics at the TU Darmstadt (Darmstadt University of Technology) and wrote his dissertation at the TU Braunschweig (Braunschweig University of Technology). He has been working for the SimPlan Group for more than ten years as Consultant and Project Manager for Simulation and today, together with Dirk Wortmann, directs the SimPlan AG as Board of Directors. Here, in particular he takes responsibility for controlling and the finances of the company.
As visiting lecturer for simulation at the TU Braunschweig and the TU Darmstadt Mr. Spieckermann passes on his knowledge and experience to students and publishes numerous contributions in various professional journals.
Dirk Wortmann
After his training as an IT specialist, Dirk Wortmann started his professional career in a Frankfurt engineering office and devoted himself to the development of a simulation software and the implementation of simulation projects in the area of production and logistics.
Since the establishment of the SimPlan AG in 1992 Mr. Wortmann has acted as Managing Director. In addition he has implemented numerous projects in various industries, with emphasis on the automotive and automotive supply industry. Today his responsibilities within the Board of Directors lie in marketing/distribution and corporate development.
