Agricultural, self-configuring communication system for the monitoring, optimisation and documentation of harvest processes

Problem

The Product Liability Act – which has applied to agricultural produce since 01/12/02000 – dictates the accurate documentation and archiving of production.  For this purpose an autonomous and secure data transmission system is highly advantageous.

Objectives of the project

Creation of a system for the mostly automatic analysis and documentation of agricultural processes

• Support of the agricultural enterprises through visualisation of their harvest, sowing and fertilising data
• The implementation of Cross Compliance through automatically generated reports
• Required for the receipt of premium payments
• Improvement of the traceability of agricultural produce
• Improvement of the logistic processes

The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection.
