On the basis of simulation we support you during the start-up phase of your production process. Aims of the application of simulation are:
Prognosis and trend analysis of the workflow over several months (start-up curve prognosis).
Day-to-day determination of the parts requirements subject to the scheduled orders
Order sequence optimisation
Work in process (WIP) prognosis and completion process personnel requirements
Evaluation of trouble-shooting measures
The SimPlan team supports the start-up phase on site until peak production is reached. Ideally support already starts in the planning phase in order to lay the foundations for start-up in time (development of the simulation model, acquisition of all required data and information). During start-up the prognosis of the start-up curve can be updated every 1-2 days. Due to the long-term projection, measures for forthcoming problems can be developed at an early stage.
Required steps are discussed in the start-up team and examined by means of the simulation, e.g. deployment of additional personnel for reworking, suspension of orders or similar. Alternatives can be contrasted and evaluated.
