Process simulation in the automotive industry

Together with the Process Simulation Working Committee (Arbeitsgruppe Ablaufsimulation) of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (Verband der deutschen Automobilindustrie - VDA) - members are among others Audi, BMW, Daimler and VW - SimPlan develop and manage the object library "Automotive". It is based on the simulation software Plant Simulation.

With the aid of this library automobile companies and their suppliers generate simulation studies during the planning process and for the support of running operation. In order to provide an easy introduction to the object library for users, tutorials have already been created for several parts.
