SimView

Application / benefit

Simulation results exhibit a similar structure in many ways. They mostly exist as time- and period-assigned data in the form of counters or examinations of minimum, maximum and average figures. These data accumulate to a considerable extent for each experiment, each period and each result source. The individual pieces of data are then compiled and visualised for the purpose of subsequent analysis. Thereby it is required that the view of the data must be variable due to a change in the presentation, the aggregation stage or the relation to other data.

With SimView an independent tool for the interactive evaluation of simulation experiments based on databases is available, offering optimised utilisation of databases and Pivot Tables for the analysis of simulation data.

SimView is a tool for users and operators of simulation tools, who have to carry out comprehensive analyses of simulation results. The template concept consistently counts on the reusability of analysis templates: Thus, once created, complete series of experiments can be processed "at the push of a button", such as for presentations, workshops or for product documentation.

  • Easy compilation of data and representation for the analysis of simulation experiments
  • Reusability through scripts and groups of scripts
  • Direct/indirect (ODBC) connection with Access DB
  • Dynamic menu structure according to the database structure
  • All important central information in one info box
  • Export into PowerPoint including the use of templates
  • Independent of simulation system
