On the basis of our ten years of experience in process optimisation and simulation we have developed an innovative simulation tool together with our partner ICON, specialist for supply chain management solutions:

• The Supply Chain object library is the result of the demands on modelling and analysis functions from a number of logistics and supply chain management projects.
• The object library is object-oriented and based on the simulation system Plant Simulation by the company Siemens PLM Software. Models can easily be extended and customised.
• Network design alternatives can be monetarily assessed in a fast and straightforward manner.
• Bottlenecks and possible savings are identified.

Utilise the openness of the library in order to let our optimisation tools carry out an automatic parameter optimisation. Bottlenecks and excess capacities can be recognised through clear diagrams already during the experiment.  All relevant statistics are automatically set up. A scenario manager supports the experiment design.
