Data evaluation and analysis with SimAssist (Special Webseminar 2021)
Description: With SimAssist, we have created a professional tool with which you can not only manage your simulation projects and the data used and generated, but also evaluate, optimize and finally transfer them into project documentation. It does not matter which simulation software you have used or which data sources you are working with. In the web seminar, participants will be presented with an overview of the possible uses of the software.
Value stream modeling with SimVSM (Special Webseminar 2021)
Description: In this web seminar, the application areas and user interfaces of SimVSM are explained. Value stream modeling is used as a business management method to improve processes in production or even services in order to represent a current state in a comprehensible way. Value Stream Mapping goes Online
Tobias Semmelmann
Description: With the help of our value stream tool SimVSM and the extensions from the research project SEAMLESS, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, we show in this video how easily a value stream can be transformed into an online value stream in the future.
Using the example of a compact value stream model, the handling of the extended functionality of SimVSM is briefly presented.
SimVSM – The SimPlan app for value stream analysis & simulation (ENG)
Robert Forstner
Description: With SimVSM you can record your value stream by drag & drop. Drop on a mobile device, quickly and easily create alternative process variants and analyze your process at your fingertips. Simulate your process to determine the influence of dynamic parameters such as disturbances.
Factory Simulation at Singapore Aero Engine Services (SAESL)
Description: The SAESL factory contains the Maintenance, Overhaul and Repair (MRO) for gas turbine engines. SAESL used Tecnomatix Plant Simulation to evaluate the maximum output of the current plant, because the number of engine types to be maintained will change in the future. With the help of the Plant Simulation model we have tested different variants of possible future scenarios and thus determined the limit capacity of the current factory. In a next step we have supported the design and evaluation of a future factory layout. The simulation model has helped SAESL to understand key KPIs and opportunities to optimize process flow while keeping the cost low.
