SimPlan at LogiMAT 2026 in Stuttgart
From March 24 to 26, 2026, LogiMAT – the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management – will once again open its doors in Stuttgart.
As Europe’s largest annual intralogistics trade fair, it offers a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in material flow, IT control, automation, and digitalization along the entire value chain.
Key Topics at LogiMAT 2025
The focus will be on current questions and trends surrounding:
- the efficient and secure handling of data as the most valuable resource of the future,
- the optimal collaboration between skilled workers, production equipment, and intelligent robotic systems,
- the use of virtual worlds for planning and validating real-world scenarios.
SimPlan on Site
Once again, SimPlan will be present with its own booth:
Hall 4, Booth 4B02
Visitors can explore practical solutions in the following areas:
- Simulation and digital twins for production and logistics processes
- Virtual commissioning (VIBN)
- Supply chain management and network optimization with the Siemens Supply Chain Suite (SCS)
- The latest versions of leading simulation tools such as AnyLogic, Emulate3D, and Plant Simulation
AI-supported value stream analysis with SimVSM
At LogiMAT 2026, SimPlan will present the new version of its value stream analysis software SimVSM. An integrated AI component enables the digitisation of so-called brown papers. Hand-drawn sketches of processes are automatically recognised and converted into digital value stream models. Manual modelling is no longer necessary. The models can then be analysed, adapted and simulated. Typical key figures include throughput times and inventory developments.
SimVSM is available as an app for Android, iOS and Windows and can be used free of charge.
Cloud-based plant simulation with SimPacSi
Also being presented is SimPacSi, a cloud-based SaaS solution for modelling, simulating and optimising processing and packaging plants. The background to this is the increasing requirements imposed by the EU Packaging Regulation PPWR.
SimPacSi supports companies in the early stages of projects by helping them make informed decisions about efficiency, sustainability and compliance. The solution offers location-independent access, scalable computing power, automatic updates and real-time collaboration. Dynamic simulations take into account disruptions and availability. Batch simulations enable structured variant comparisons.
