Project with Cargo sous terrain: Underground digital logistics system.
“Is the tunnel diameter of 6.6 m sufficient to transport the planned quantities of pallets in the long term?” This was one of the questions Cargo sous terrain (CST) from Switzerland approached us to answer based on a dynamic flow simulation.
CST is a sustainable, automated total logistics system that allows flexible, above-ground and underground transport of pallets and containers. Tunnels connect production and logistics locations with conurbations. The first expansion stage of the network comprises 12 hubs, approx. 74 km of tunnels and is scheduled to go into operation in 2031.
We are pleased to be able to support such a highly innovative logistics project as a partner with our expert knowledge in the field of simulation. The focus of our work is the simulation-based performance determination of individual trades, the overall system, their dimensioning and the detection of weak points.
Expansion of the Heilsbronn warehouse for FEGA & SCHMITT Elektrogroßhandel
In this simulation study you can see the result of the project for FEGA & SCHMITT Elektrogroßhandel GmbH in Heilsbronn.
SimPlan provided a simulation study during the planning phase – from data simulation to detail simulation of the final concept. The realization was carried out by TGW Systems Integration GmbH.

Extension of the logistics system for Erwin Müller Versandhaus GmbH
In this simulation study you can see the result of the project for Erwin Müller Versandhaus GmbH. TGW Systems Integration GmbH planned a new logistics system as an extension for which a simulation model was to be created by SimPlan to support planning. The goal of the model was to provide all project participants with transparent figures such as throughputs, utilization of trades, etc. and to show the effects of dynamic conditions as well as parameter changes.

Value Stream Mapping goes Online
We present our app SimVSM, which can be downloaded free of charge from the AppStore, PlayStore and Micosoft Store.
With SimVSM, you can capture your value stream via drag & drop on a mobile device, create alternative process variants quickly and easily, and analyze your process at the touch of a button. Simulate your process to determine the influence of dynamic parameters such as disturbance variables.

Data evaluation and analysis with SimAssist (Special Webseminar 2021)
Description: With SimAssist, we have created a professional tool with which you can not only manage your simulation projects and the data used and generated, but also evaluate, optimize and finally transfer them into project documentation. It does not matter which simulation software you have used or which data sources you are working with. In the web seminar, participants will be presented with an overview of the possible uses of the software.
Value stream modeling with SimVSM (Special Webseminar 2021)
Description: In this web seminar, the application areas and user interfaces of SimVSM are explained. Value stream modeling is used as a business management method to improve processes in production or even services in order to represent a current state in a comprehensible way. Factory Simulation at Singapore Aero Engine Services (SAESL)
Description: The SAESL factory contains the Maintenance, Overhaul and Repair (MRO) for gas turbine engines. SAESL used Tecnomatix Plant Simulation to evaluate the maximum output of the current plant, because the number of engine types to be maintained will change in the future. With the help of the Plant Simulation model we have tested different variants of possible future scenarios and thus determined the limit capacity of the current factory. In a next step we have supported the design and evaluation of a future factory layout. The simulation model has helped SAESL to understand key KPIs and opportunities to optimize process flow while keeping the cost low.
