Our latest Newsletter

In our latest newsletter, we have once again compiled important topics, dates and offers relating to simulation, virtual commissioning and training courses. Here you will find the contents in compact form.

Digitalisation made easy

Analogue value stream analysis in a workshop, digital evaluation in a tool: until now, there has been a time-consuming process and a disconnect between the two worlds. The KompAKI research project has now produced a solution that closes precisely this gap.

With the new AI feature in SimVSM, analogue value stream maps can be captured via photo and automatically converted into a digital model. This transforms brown paper and maps directly into a robust basis for analysis and simulation – simply, efficiently and without manual reconstruction.

CO₂, costs and complexity under control

Rising energy prices, regulatory requirements such as the CSRD and volatile supply chains are increasing the pressure on industry and logistics to act. Sustainability is thus becoming a measurable planning task rather than an additional project.

Simulation and digital twins enable transparent analysis of energy requirements, CO₂ emissions and resource usage, and allow variants to be evaluated without risk. This leads to robust decisions for efficient, sustainable production and logistics systems.

LogiMAT 2026

Many value stream analyses remain on paper after the workshop and quickly lose their impact. The digital value stream provides a solution by capturing processes directly in digital form, automatically calculating key performance indicators and making it easy to compare scenarios.

By integrating real production data, it creates a reliable basis for decision-making that leads to sustainable improvements. In this way, the traditional value stream analysis becomes a management tool that can be used on an ongoing basis.

Planning complex battery production with confidence

A wide variety of variants, sensitive processes and complex logistics make battery production a demanding task. Simulation creates transparency throughout the entire value chain and provides reliable forecasts on output, capacity utilisation and bottlenecks.

This enables well-founded decisions on layout and investment, and makes production ramp-ups easier to plan.
