Autumn is here, and with it comes the start of planning for the new year. In this issue, we present two real-world examples: at Lörrach Central Hospital, simulation has supported hospital planning, whilst at HOLTEC’s round timber yard, an emulation has accelerated commissioning. We also show why 99 per cent availability per machine does not necessarily result in a good packaging line, and introduce you to FlexSim, which is new to our portfolio.
