Experienced simulation experts will teach you the following content:
Days 1 and 2: Plant Simulation basics
- Introduction to event-based simulation
- User interface
- Model creation, model structuring
- Faults, random processes
- Classes, instances, inheritance
- Data types, user-defined attributes
- Graphical model design in 2D and 3D
Day 3: Programming with SimTalk
- Method syntax of SimTalk 2
- Name, identifiers, paths
- Methods as controls
- Conditional statements, loops
- Tables and global variables
Agenda Online training courses
For online training courses, we have found that dividing the content into 5 half-days works well. The training takes place on 5 mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with approx. 30-minute breaks.
Monday
- Introduction to event-based simulation, introduction to Plant Simulation,
- model creation, production model.
Tuesday
- Extension of production model, statistical evaluation, faults and random processes, model structuring, classes, instances, inheritance, data types, user-defined attributes.
Wednesday
- Graphical model design in 2D and 3D.
Thursday
- Programming with SimTalk 2, method syntax, names, identifiers, paths.
Friday
- Methods as controls, conditional statements, loops, tables and global variables.
We would be happy to create a training programme tailored to your individual requirements.
