SimPlan Group expands portfolio
SimPlan Systems offers individual software solutions and mathematical optimisation

SimPlan, the leading provider of simulation services in Germany, will expand its portfolio by establishing its subsidiary SimPlan Systems GmbH as of April 1. SimPlan Systems GmbH will provide services in the field of mathematical optimization with solutions, among others (e.g. IBM ILOG, FICO®, Gurobi Optimization). In addition, the SimPlan Group is combining its software development capacities with this step.
As a result, SimPlan takes increasing customer requirements into account as well as the increased demand for individual software solutions for optimizing and simulating operational processes after the integration of intelligent optimization approaches with simulation models.
The management will be taken over by Jürgen Effenberger and Florian Seeanner, who will both strengthen the SimPlan Group in the future. Mr. Effenberger has several years of project management experience in the software industry and Mr. Seeanner has brought together research and industry optimization methods at the Technical University of Darmstadt over the past few years. In addition, Dr. Sven Spieckermann, member of the board of SimPlan AG, will support the management of SimPlan Systems GmbH
