Model Factory Koblenz
Business processes hands-on
On March 16th 2011, the model factory Koblenz was launched at the University of applied sciences Koblenz. Its goal is to promote a holistic approach to business studies and to make modern management principles more tangible.
With a miniature model of a value chain, business processes are simulated and thereby made visible. Company processes are evaluated with the help of practical methods and modern IT tools and new solutions are developed.
In the model factory, professors, business students and companies are working together – companies can use the laboratory for their own optimization projects and as a platform for their internal training programs.
The founders of the model factory Koblenz are three business studies professors of the University of applied sciences Koblenz: Dr. Elmar Bräkling, Dr. Ayelt Komus and Dr. Bert Leyendecker.
SimPlan is official Software sponsor of the model factory.
