SimPlan researches cloud-based material flow simulation in a CloudFlow sub-project

The research project CloudFlow  is an extensive initative of the European Commission to advance the use of cloud technology. SimPlan became a project partner in an experiment (sub-project) in the second year of the CloudFlow project’s runtime.

The SIMCASE experiment will bring a workflow support for simulation projects into the Cloud. It will support collaboration throughout material handling or robot simulations along the engineering service chain from engineering companies like the end user INTROSYS to OEMs.

Data handling, workflow during the simulation study and simulation experiments will be shifted to the cloud and evaluated along a case study.
