Digital logistics planning – winner of the elogistics-Award 2005

DaimlerChrysler wins this year’s elogistics-Award of the AKJ Automotive together with partners.

In this year’s competition for the elogistics-Award of the AKJ Automotive, the digital logistics planning solution of DaimlerChrysler AG has emerged as the winner. In addition to other software and development partners, SimPlan was also involved in this solution with a module. With the help of this new software solution, logistics process planning becomes more efficient in terms of data procurement, execution and documentation.

Following the simulation runs, the planner receives all relevant data for the real implementation of the logistics system “from a single source”. Digital logistics planning” thus enables standardized planning and evaluation of logistics processes in an integrated software environment. The planning time is shortened and the quality is significantly increased.
