SimPlan presents 3D layout planner at LogiMAT 2015

Create realistic plant layouts effectively and quickly in 3D

The SimPlan Group is the leading German provider of material flow and logistics simulations and has been active in this profession for over 20 years. The steady growth has continued over the past year, with the number of employees now exceeding 80 permanent staff.

Almost in keeping with tradition, SimPlan will again be exhibiting at this year’s LogiMAT intralogistics trade fair in Stuttgart. In hall 7 at booth B04 visitors can inform themselves about the various services and software products from the simulation area.

One of the highlights will be the presentation of the new product Layout3D. The British company Emulate3D Inc. already presented it at the German user meeting at the end of November, alongside many new features, and it was met with great enthusiasm by customers.

Layout3D allows users to create layouts (see example model below) from standard catalogs or imported CAD files. These can be used, for example, for customer presentations to clearly illustrate a plant. In addition, videos can be created very quickly with any camera movement, in which the plant is flown through. The models can be used in further project phases with the products Demo3D, Emulate3D and Sim3D.
