SimPlan at SAP Connect Day: Simulation and emulation for reliable SAP EWM projects
On 18 November 2026, the Heidelberg Congress Centre will be focusing entirely on the future of warehouse and transport management. This year, the event formerly known as SAP Innovation Day will take place under the name SAP Connect Day: Warehouse and Transport Management.
The focus will be on the current challenges facing modern supply chains: increasing complexity, volatile operating conditions and the growing need for transparent and end-to-end integrated processes. SAP will demonstrate how modern technologies, automation and AI can help to make warehouse and transport processes more efficient and to integrate external data more closely into the supply chain.
As well as providing insights into the latest SAP solutions, the event offers case studies, best practices and the opportunity to exchange ideas with SAP experts, users and partners.
SimPlan at the event
SimPlan will also be present at SAP Connect Day. Our focus is on validating and optimising automated logistics processes within the SAP EWM environment.
Using simulation, digital twins and high-level emulation, processes and control logic can be examined and tested under realistic conditions even before actual commissioning. This allows, for example, workflows to be validated, different scenarios to be explored and potential errors to be identified at an early stage.
Particularly during the implementation or migration to SAP EWM, virtual validation offers the opportunity to reduce risks before go-live and to prepare for commissioning in a targeted manner.
