Our series „SimPlan turns 30“ / Part 12 – Expansion of the Board of Management
In 2013, Dr. Harry Kestenbaum and Dr. Ulrich Burges were appointed to the Executive Board.
Dirk Wortmann, co-founder of SimPlan AG alongside Prof. Dr. Sven Spieckermann, withdrew from the board due to his acivities at SimPlan China and is still active as a consultant for SimPlan today.
Prof. Dr. Sven Spieckermann now headed the AG as Spokesman of the Executive Board and is still responsible for the company’s controlling and finances.
Dr. Ulrich Burges joined SimPlan AG 1998 as a consultant and project manager for simulation. Before his appointment to the Executive Board, he managed the Hanau branch. On the board, Mr. Burges is responsible in particular for the operative simulation business as well as IT. In addition, Mr. Burges supervises numerous diploma and master theses and is involved in various committees in the simulation environment.
Dr. Harry Kestenbaum has been part of the SimPlan family since 2001, with an interruption of three years. In 2005, he took over the position of sales manager and was appointed to the board of directors after eight years. In this function, Mr. Kestenbaum is responsible for sales and marketing at SimPlan AG.
