We research the future of simulation
SimPlan has been involved in over 40 research projects for more than 13 years. We work in research on topics that will advance simulation as a technology even further.
Keywords such as artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0, factory of the future – these are all topics that come up in the research projects.
As soon as this potential has been developed in the research projects in such a way that we can transfer it to the commercial projects, our customers will benefit from it.
New software products emerge
In addition, some software products have already emerged from these projects, such as SimAssist (data analysis) and the two apps SimVSM (digital value stream mapping) and SimQueue (planning optimisation).
We see simulation as an important part of digitalisation.
The digital twin of a plant plays the most important driver in this topic. In all phases of planning and operation, the digital twin can serve as a basis for decision-making within the framework of a simulation.
