New license form: Plant Simulation Foundation

The Plant Simulation Foundation license has the same features as the standard license. However, the allowed number of objects is limited to 500 counted objects in the simulation network. The number of objects is not counted globally in the whole model, but specifically in the network hierarchy, in the root of which the event manager is located and thus the simulation is running.

With the Plant Simulation Foundation, Siemens supports companies in the SME sector and offers the right license in terms of both technology and price. This means that even smaller tasks in production and logistics, which rarely exceed the size of 500 objects in an SME, can be simulated or optimized with Plant Simulation.

The license and pricing model allows the use of the full functionality of the Plant Simulation Standard version (limitation only in the number of objects) either for a limited time or at an attractive price to optimize your own production or to secure complex customer orders/plants.

More information about the license types can be found on our website www.plant-simulation.de.
