Our presentation on 13/02: Simulation-based Decision Cockpit for Strategic Hospital Planning
Speakers:
In this presentation, we present a decision cockpit that is based on the AnyLogic simulation tool and has been specially developed for strategic issues in hospitals.
With an intuitive Excel interface, it enables the creation and analysis of numerous scenarios to make data-based decisions. Particularly noteworthy is the user-friendliness, which allows even non-simulation experts to perform complex simulations.
Using specific examples, we show how this tool supports the planning of bed capacities, resource utilisation and the evaluation of strategic changes.
We look forward to providing practical insights, exchanging innovative ideas and discussing the potential and challenges of such technologies with other participants in Augsburg.
Deepen your knowledge of simulation to optimise processes in the healthcare sector
Simulation in healthcare enables the analysis and optimisation of complex processes, such as new construction planning, process optimisation or resource utilisation, without disrupting ongoing operations.
